Apply at /become-a-mentor. Designed's mentor network is entirely volunteer — working designers giving their time to help others grow, which is a big part of how the platform stays free.
Once you're approved, use Settings → Mentoring to control your availability — see Mentoring availability and donations. Filling out your experience and education beforehand makes your application easier to evaluate and your profile more useful to mentees deciding whether to reach out.
