About Me

Over the last 15 years my career path has allowed me to absorb many disciplines in the creative industry. Currently, my role in UX involves working on creating world class experiences through user research, prototyping and conducting user testing. I have been involved most of my career in many different industries; as a senior visual designer for government, e-commerce and insurance sites; in addition to user interface design in the enterprise industry. Now, my focus is User Experience with an emphasis in product design. I've worked closely with product designers, product managers, stakeholders, development teams and I enjoy every minute of it. I try to make the overly complex into simple solutions. The best part about being a designer is I can always do things differently and there's no one perfect answer. As a UX Designer at AWS, I solve problems. My thinking is every experience should be as simple and intuitive as possible. I strongly believe that learning never stops and should be the basis of every project. I love solving problems through functional, reliable, usable and pleasurable designs with constant validation through user research and testing. Understanding the context and pain points of the users is key to finding the right solution and ideal experience. Currently, I'm working with an extraordinary group of individuals who have a passion for what we do. Specialties: • Graphic Tools: Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Experience Design(XD) and InDesign. Microsoft Office Suite. • Prototyping Tools: Figma, Sketch, Axure and Invision • User-Centered Design: Persona Development, Storyboards, Wireframes, Mockups, Prototypes, Usability Testing, Focus Groups, UI & Pixel Specifications • Technical: Familiar with front-end web standards including HTML, Javascript, and CSS
