About Me
Hi, I am working as a Chief Designer in Samsung India. I am associated with design industry from last 8 years. Previously I was associated with Times of India Group, Cognizant & Thinking Threads Design Pvt Ltd. Working as a User Experience Designer I always kept myself involved in design education and have played the role of Design Mentor too. I am also associated with multiple design communities as well. I completed my Masters of Design from Department of Design , IIT Guwahati. I have been awarded with Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award 2013 for the Masters Thesis Project & iF Design Award 2020 for Tune Station (Samsung Smart TV App). My outlook towards design education is to democratise it for everyone - that's why I am mentoring many students & professionals via multiple design communities. My skill sets range from knowledge of System Design, User Centered Design Methodologies, Design Research, HCD & UX/UI Design Principles. Comprehensive understanding of design process from conceptualization to brainstorming to a meticulous eye for detail in final stages. I hold hands on experience on different design tools including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Balsamiq, Moqups, Microsoft Visio., XD. My work approach involved requirement gathering, research, design thinking, implementation and support. I love to travel in mountains while enjoying music. Cricket as a sport and astronomy makes me curious.
