About Me

Luna is an award-winning product designer in tech. Her design work has won over ten awards. She is a KP Design Fellow, certified SCRUM PO and UX specialist by NNG. She has work experience in Enterprise SaaS and E-commerce. She is hands-on but also has experience in leading design teams. As an award-winning multidisciplinary designer, Luna has a real passion for { Design in Tech } + { Design for Good }. She is a systematic thinker, user-centered problem solver, and well-rounded designer with a business and technology background. Her experience and expertise include user experience design, SaaS enterprise design, consumer design, design system, design theory and methodology, lean & agile methodology, goal management, and social innovation. Luna’s work won over 10 design awards including the Young Innovator Award at CHIMEHACK, Best Payments Experience at US Citi Mobile Challenge, International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), and Red Dot Concept Design Awards. Her projects have been shown in tech/design/entrepreneur events such as Solid Conference, Harvard China Forum, US Science and Engineering Festival and Hong Kong Business of Design Week. She is also a certified Scrum Product Owner by Scrum Alliance and a certified UX Specialist in Design Management by Neilson Norman Group. As Chinese Youth Leader, Luna attended the 7th Youth Assembly at United Nations and has been actively leading projects for social good in China, US, and Kenya. Fueled by her passion for solving social problems by design thinking, she was selected to be a KP Design Fellow, O'Reilly Solid Fellow, and Andrew's Roadmap Scholar. She's now enjoying solving complex challenges for mission-driven business to make positive impacts on people and society. She was born and raised in China and has traveled to over 10 countries across 5 continents. Currently, she lives in San Francisco.
