A clear data retention policy, enforced automatically

Every kind of data Designed.org keeps now has a written retention window, and an automatic daily sweep actually enforces it. Operational logs and analytics are purged on schedule instead of accumulating forever.

Designed.org now has a written, versioned data retention policy covering every kind of data the platform keeps: what it's for, how long we keep it, and how that limit is actually enforced.

The enforcement is automatic, not aspirational: a daily cleanup purges operational logs after 90 days, data-quality records after 180 days, analytics events after 13 months, and pre-account waitlist signups after 24 months. Your account data itself is different. It's kept while your account exists, fully exportable anytime, and erased when you delete your account.

The policy document also does something policies often don't: it names its own gaps honestly and tracks fixing them, rather than pretending everything is covered.
