About Me
I am passionate about UX Design. My background in tech was as a result of an organization in Kenya called AkiraChix. They strive to empower young women from underserved communities across Africa to join technology programs. I went through the program for a year and that's where my journey in design began. I have a work experience of 2 years but I feel I am still lacking in the research part of the entire design process. I would like to be more confident with my research skills that will eventually help me find the best design solutions to problems faced by people. I currently working for a Digital Marketing Agency based in Kenya. I am the only UX designer and the first one they have ever hired despite the company's growth across different regions in Africa. It is a bit challenging to navigate work in this types of conditions and that's why I am looking for such opportunities.
