Offering 20 years of design experience - a unique blend of high level leadership, “hands on” creative and design solutions, growth driven design insight, and practiced talents in leading cross-functional teams to record success. I've built high value partnerships with big brands including Google, Sony, Estée Lauder, Tesla, Def Jam Records, and The Food Network, and I've led small startups to design and product greatness. World Champion Churro Eater 2001 (how many people actually read this stuff?) I believe in design and technology with purpose; I am the catalyst that blends ideas, pushes conceptual thinking and finds the best way to energize a product through stunning design solutions that matter. And quite honestly, all of the above is fluff, and I realize that. I'm pretty sure that I even made up a few words - and while it's all true, these are things I believe about myself. Nothing matters unless it's backed up by years of experience, failure and a few successes here and there. In the past decade I've realized that my accomplishments have become less about the work I'm capable of and more about the people I nurture to become better than I ever was.

Mentor for first-time tech leaders, new managers starting their first leadership position or a new position in a new company, or senior engineers taking up leadership "with no authority" roles I started my career as a full stack developer and gradually moved into leadership roles. I was often the person helping teams make decisions, resolve friction, and deal with problems that were more about people and structure than technology. Over time, that became the work I cared about most. As a mentor, I focus on practical leadership. That includes supporting engineers who are managing people for the first time, helping senior engineers expand their influence, and working through real situations from day to day work. I care about building habits and processes that serve both the team and the individual. I work best with people who want to be thoughtful about how they lead, who are open to reflection, and who want their leadership style to fit who they are rather than follow a template.

I am a 24-year-old designer from India, curious about finding answers to all the hows, whats and whys around me. I completed my graduation as a product designer from MIT Institute of Design in 2021 with a first class with distinction. Always fascinated by lifestyle products and interiors, post-graduation I worked at a luxury lighting firm named 'Arjun Rathi Design' in Mumbai. My work involved not only design but also led production and installation and assisted in studio management. Apart from this I also trained new joiners and that's where my spark for mentoring started. Today I often cater to calls like - 'I finished my graduation and I'm unable to land my first job' or 'I'm not seeing growth in this job. Should I quit?' I've dealt with these questions myself and I know it's not an easy journey. So I'm here to help you unlock your potential by sharing my experiences of how I cracked the code and got for 7 job positions after applying to over 50. (This list of 7 even includes my dream company 'Ikea'.) Currently working as a freelancer, I can mentor you to figure out the next design thing apt for your profile - be it an undergrad/master or a job switch or elevating your design profile.
